Dead tree came down on a garage roof — Freetown, IN
Just this September, a dead tree rotted through at the base and came down on this garage roof. We got the tree off the garage, took down the dead tree standing right beside it, and tarped the roof to protect the homeowner's property from an incoming storm. All the wood was cut up and stacked in a pile at the back of the property, with the loose material in the burn pit.
Storm-blown tree hung up in the treetops — Lake LaSalle, Brown County
An August storm came across the lake and took down a couple of trees on this property. This one never made it to the ground — it snapped at the base and got stuck, its top tangled into the branches of the trees around it. Look up to where it's caught: that's where we climbed. You can see one of our guys up in the treetops, getting ready to drop it to the ground. We did what we do best — got the tree down safely and cleaned up the mess.
