What to expect from us
Piece-by-piece removal is the careful way down for trees that can't just be dropped: a climber goes up (or we work from equipment), takes the tree apart from the top, and lowers each section on ropes so nothing touches your roof, fence, or landscaping.
The trees that need this are usually the ones that worry you most — dead or dying trees shedding limbs over the house, storm-cracked trunks, trees leaning the wrong way. Signs a tree may need to come down: large dead limbs, mushrooms or soft rot at the base, a hollow trunk, a fresh lean after a storm, or roots heaving the soil.
Every removal includes the full job: limbs and trunk down safely, everything bucked and hauled, the site raked clean. Add stump grinding on the same visit and the whole tree — top to root flare — is gone in one appointment.

This one never made it to the ground — it snapped at the base and got stuck, its top tangled into the branches of the trees around it. Look up to where it's caught: that's where we climbed. How do I know if my tree needs to be removed?
Big warning signs: major dead limbs, fungus or mushrooms growing at the base, bark falling off in sheets, a hollow or soft trunk, a new lean after a storm, or lifted soil around the roots. Some trees can be saved with pruning instead — send us a photo or have us look at it, and we'll give you an honest answer either way.
Can you remove a tree that's right next to my house?
Yes — that's exactly what piece-by-piece removal with rigging is for. Each section is roped and lowered under control, not dropped. Trees over roofs, decks, fences, and driveways are routine work for us.
What about power lines near the tree?
Lines change the plan, not the outcome. Tell us about any lines near the tree when you call — depending on whether they're utility lines or the service drop to your house, coordination with the utility may be needed before work starts. We'll walk you through it.
Does tree removal include the stump?
Removal takes the tree down to a low stump. Grinding the stump 6–12 inches below grade is a separate step we can do the same visit — most customers bundle them so the job is completely finished in one trip.
